“Negotiate with fear. But never be afraid to negotiate.”

The art of negotiation seizes the moment when the parties involved in the selling process want to cooperate and transform this process into a “win – win” situation.

Preparing the negotiation, elaborating a strategy as well as the means to avoid the bad influence of “negotiation tricks and games” the other party might use, are some of the most important modules tackled by this program.

Participants will also be able to recognize manipulation mechanisms that could influence their decisions; they will be able to make concessions and to avoid irrational decisions.

Art of Negotiation

About the course: “Negotiation is not a conversation in which one tries to attract the audience or to convince it of the soundness of their cause. Negotiation means doing business”

Successful negotiations require the ability to determine by analysis the best way to convince and to establish influence strategies in order to obtain an agreement. The parties’ interests are balanced in the final agreement by finding a mutual advantage.

Participants’ benefits:

  Understanding the win-win negotiation process
Developing the ability to negotiate interests, not positions, by means of profitable/low-cost and mutually/advantageous exchanges
  Developing creative “currencies”
Using the BATNA method as an ultimate objective

Duration: 2 days
Participation fee: EUR 150/participant/day

Games and tricks in negotiation

About the course: “He who fights monsters must watch out not to become one.”

Knowing and practicing tricks and games in negotiation develop the negotiator's spontaneity and confidence in finding mutually advantageous solutions. This is the only guarantee that the post negotiation agreement will be implemented.

Participants’ benefits:
Identifying each form of activity and learning possible solutions for each game or trick
Anticipating the other party’s conduct and turning it into one’s own advantage
Balancing hidden competition/cooperation: “rolling the log”, “good guy/bad guy”, “the wheat and the bran”, etc

Duration: 1 day
Participation fee: EUR 150/participant/day

Intra-Negotiation

About the course: “Finding solutions means seeing something like everyone else, but thinking about it differently”

Group negotiation is fundamental in decision-making, as it is one of the main characteristics of the participative working style. Mutual interests found in creative solutions and motivating the group towards progress are some of the results of correct and continuous application of intra-negotiation techniques.

Participants’ benefits:
  Developing creativity, receptivity, trust, patience
  Planning a successful meeting
Studying the impact in communication processes
  Finding creative solutions
  Motivating the group

Duration: 2 days
Participation fee: EUR 150/participant/day

Inter-Negotiation

About the course: “When iron is beaten with several hammers, they must keep the rhythm.”

Inter-Negotiation becomes more difficult since overlapping expectations and objectives becomes stronger and the use of influence policy becomes critical. Groups interact through ideas, values, styles and standards of their members. Finding integrating solutions contributes to increased admiration, trust, respect and loyalty to the detriment of disagreements, jealousies and resentments.

Participants’ benefits:
  efficient team work
preparation of the group for negotiation, for assuming roles
key aspects in leading the negotiation team
  preparation of the success coalition
  development of integrating solutions

Duration: 2 days
Participation fee: EUR 150/participant/day
